With the recent cold snap that has arrived in Connecticut, you may be tempted to allow your car to run, unattended in your driveway or on the street, while it warms up. The Waterbury Police Department discourages you from doing this, as you make your vehicle a potential target for thieves. Stolen cars are often crimes of opportunity, so be smart and don’t provide the opportunity for you to be victimized! Feel free to contact the Community Relations Division at (203)574-6962, for additional tips and how to keep you and your property safe.
